Fly Fishing the Ganges

McClane's New Standard Fishing Encyclopedia and International Angling Guide has entries describing every fish-able body of water on the planet. There is no entry for the mighty Ganges river in Northern India. The Ganges is, essentially for all fishing purposes, and for a variety of pollution reasons - many of which pre-date the Industrial Era - a "Dead River". This blog is NOT about fishing. I'm thinking "Metaphor" here. Let the games begin.
